Description
Letter dated September 27, 1938 from Sister Claire Lynch, Dean of the College of Saint Benedict, to alumnae in St. Paul, MN, who objected to the admission of Black students at CSB. The letter expresses confidence in Kathleen Yanes and Gertrude Danavall, and concludes "In conclusion, I can only say that we are even more eager than our alumnae that our college retain its present prestige, but we are certain that our status as a Catholic college will be but improved by an act which is, after all, only outward evidence of our belief in Christian--not to say Catholic-principles.
