Description
Fr. Aidan McCall was the Dean of Students at SJU (later in 1971, his title changed to Vice President of Student Affairs), for five years, from 1968-1973. He was the club moderator for the Organization of African American Students (O.A.A.S.) and helped establish the Black Cultural Center on April 24, 1969. Fr. McCall was the second Black faculty member and taught in the Classics department. He continued his studies through his life and advocated for change.
