An ad for a benefit rally in support of Angela Davis. The CSB/SJU Black Student Union (BSU) hosted a rally on April 5, 1972. The BSU rented out the Benedicta Arts Center (BAC) for the rally and sold tickets, the proceeds from which would be put in the legal defense fund for Angela Davis. This rally was controversial as a Communist Party member, Bettina Aptheker spoke. Despite the resistance, in terms of crank calls and bricks placed outside the BAC, the rally took place with 500 people in attendance.
