Stearns County Plants

With over a century of local collecting activity, the Bailey Herbarium has a wide array of local plant specimens. The Abbey Arboretum at Saint John’s and the Monastery Woods at Saint Ben’s& have a mix of prairie, oak savanna, oak and hardwood forest, conifer forest, and lakes and wetlands with plants from these varied ecosystems.
